A large and incredibly beautiful complex of temples – Pashupatinath is located on both sides of the Bagmati River, in the east of the city of Kathmandu (the capital of Nepal).
Pashupatinath is the temple of Shiva, it is dedicated to Shiva in the form of Pashupati, patron of all living things and the king of animals. Pashupatinath is also one of the most revered Shivist temples in the world and the most important Hindu temple of Nepal.
Recommended tour –
Every day thousands of believers come here from all over Nepal, India and other countries. Some of them came to say goodbye to a relative, and some came with their lives. For all but inexperienced foreign tourists, what is happening in Pashupatinath causes neither horror nor surprise. For true Hindus, death is only a transition to a new life, however, it must be done correctly so that the next rebirth is safe and happy. Going to a new world in the sacred waters of Bagmati is a great goodness for any Hindu believer.
